Founded in 1978 by Ichiro Shoda, a certified G.I.A. diamonds appraiser, PREO CREATIONS is a diamond importing and wholesaling company, that began manufacturing and distributing jewelry in 1980, and has since then distributed its products to Japanese retailers and famous department stores. We design and manufacture beautiful jewelry using only carefully selected D color flawless melee diamonds. The diamonds are bought in Antwerp, the designs are done in-house, and the jewelry is made by the best craftsmen in Japan. We now also offer retail services and are available for orders and remodeling by appointment. We manufacture not only rings, but also many other types of high-end jewelry such as necklaces, bracelets and earrings for dinner parties. Because diamonds and jewelry are expensive items, we do not sell them online, as we want you to see them in person. Please make a reservation. We look forward to seeing you at the showroom.
プレオクリエイションズ沿革
1977年
創業者 庄田市郎、アメリカの鑑定機関G.I.Aのダイヤモンド鑑定士の資格を修得。
1978年
東京都台東区上野5丁目(御徒町)に有限会社ダイヤ商会設立。 ダイヤモンド、色石等の裸石の卸売を始める。
1980年
自社オリジナルデザインのジュエリー制作を始める。
1988年
株式会社 ジャパンダイヤモンド・ポリッシングワークスをニューヨークと日本に設立。設立と同時にプエルト・リコにダイヤモンド研磨工場を持つ。 ダイヤモンドの原石からの研磨を始め、ニューヨークではティファニーに卸し、 日本では当時まだ注目され始めたばかりのアイディアルカットのダイヤモンドを 国内大手ジュエリーメーカー及びダイヤモンド輸入卸業者へ卸す。
1996年
この頃よりデパートとの取引が始まる。日本橋高島屋などで卸先のオリジナルブランド商品として店頭販売されていた。
2000年
御徒町より本社を神奈川県横浜市に移転。 有限会社プレオ・クリエイションズと社名変更する。
2002年
卸売りの他に小売りを始める。
2004年
名古屋松坂屋本店にて “espiritu” （スペイン語で「精神」という意味）という名前でブランドデビュー。
2005年
首都圏で 『 PREO CREATIONS 』としてブランド・デビュー 取引デパート： 高島屋（日本橋、新宿、大宮、京都）、東急本店、東武デパート 宇都宮店 、名古屋松坂屋本店、静岡松坂屋、西武デパート（池袋、筑波、広 島）、 新宿京王デパートなど。 ＊高額商品を上記デパートの外商持ち回り、ホテルでの催示に委託。 本社を東京都港区白金に移転。
2014年
ダイヤモンドの研磨をベルギーにて再開。 現在に至る。
